We’re a collective of Catholic young adults from around the Grand Rapids area, with the vision of offering a fellowship-focused and Christ-centered weekend retreat experience for young adults in West Michigan. Come away for time spent in authentic Catholic community, with ample opportunity for prayer, sacraments, and life-giving leisure in the midst of creation.

Location: Camp Scottie | Howard City, MI
Arrival: Friday, July 31 @ 7-8pm
Departure: Sunday, August 2 @ 12pm
Retreat will consist of:
Mass & Confession
Adoration / Prayer Time
Rec & Leisure Time
Keynote Talks
Small Group Discussion
etc.

The age range is generally 21-33 years old.
This is intended to be for post-college young professionals, primarily from West Michigan, but people from visiting areas are welcome to register.
Young parents with children are welcome to join - see the young families info tab for more.

Camp Scottie has large indoor bunk rooms with limited capacity. Up to 20 of each sex can select to sleep in the bunk rooms when registering.
Most of the group will be camping in tents. Tents will not be provided. Retreatants who select to camp will be expected to bring their own tents, bedding, etc.. Retreatants can indicate who they will be in a tent with when registering.

Meals will be provided:
3 meals Saturday (B, L, D)
1 meal Sunday (B)
Dietary restrictions will be accounted for when registering & we will do our best to accommodate.

The hope is for a large scale retreat experience, of over 100 young adults, from across West Michigan.
We have a general capacity of 150 registrants.

Young adults who are married and have children are still welcome to join on this retreat. Parents would be responsible for keeping track of their children, but young children are welcome.
For parents with little kids who may prefer to sleep at home, there will be a registration option for “day camping”.

We hope to provide a large scale, community-building, and Christ-focused retreat experience. The goals:
Create space for Catholic community
Facilitate an encounter with Jesus
Equip & launch leaders for apostolate

This retreat is run by a group of 30 lay Catholic young adults from around the greater Grand Rapids area.
Resources and supplies come from a mix of Catholic parishes and funds from retreat registrant costs.
